Huyghe brewery has been producing one of the most well-known and highly ranked beer in the world, the famous Delirium series. Delirium has traveled the world and is enjoyed across all continents. Huyghe have also excelled in producing fruity brews and krieks as well as their signature organic and fair-trade pilsner the Mongozo.

 

Delirium Nocturnum – 33cl

Style: Strong Dark Ale – Alc./Vol. 8.5%

Color: 80 EBC – Dark brown-red with a white-yellow stable and lacing head. 

Flavor: 24 IBU – Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate with spices such as liquorice and coriander followed by an increasing bitterness.  

 

Delirium Tremens – 33cl

Style: Strong Blond Ale – Alc./Vol. 8.5%

Color: 7.5 EBC – Pale blonde with a fine white head.

Flavor: 24.5 IBU – Slightly malty with a nice touch of spices. Strong, long-lasting and bitter aftertaste. 

 

Delirium Argentum – 33cl 

Style: Strong Hopped Ale – Alc./Vol. 7%

Color: 40 EBC – Red amber with a dense fine white head.

Flavor: 20 IBU – Spicy, citrus, grapefruit, a hint of caramel and a full bitter aftertaste. 

 

Delirium Red – 33cl 

Style: Strong fruit beer – Alc./Vol. 8%

Color: 27 EBC – Deep dark red with a light and pink lacing head.

Flavor: 48 IBU – Soft fruity aroma, with hint of almond and mildly sour cherries. A nice balance between sweet and sour. An excellent dessert beer.

Averbode Abbaye – 33cl

Style: Abbaye beer – Alc./Vol. 8%

Color: 6 EBC – Golden with a fine head.

Flavor: 34 IBU – Floral, green apples and a hint of sweetness and delicate hop aroma and a fresh rich bitter aftertaste.

 

 

Floris Kriek – 33cl  (out of stock)

Style: Wheat fruit beer – Alc./Vol. 3.6%

Color:  Deep red color, cloudy with a fine pink lacing foam.

Flavor: Wild sour cherries and cherry stones. Soft and sweet cherry beer with a touch of nuts (cherry stones) and a sourish aftertaste.

 

 

Mongozo Pilsner – 33cl

Style: Pilsner Beer, (Gluten free, Organic, Fair trade) – Alc./Vol. 5%

Color: Golden yellow and clear.

Flavor:  Malty and hoppy. The beer has a mild, slightly bitter, ‘hoppy’ flavor. Brewed using only high-grade, certified-organic barley malt, rice and hops. The rice used also is fair trade.

Blanche des Neiges – 33cl

Style: Wheat Beer – Alc./Vol. 4.8%

Color: Pale yellow with a cloudy white head.

Flavor:  Floral, coriander and curacao, with a light citrus note.
